Description
Plotted on the site known as “Les Brustins” in Damery, this cuvée was created by chance, following a mistake. In fact, malolactic fermentation started before alcoholic fermentation, so Bastien put the wines aside, thinking of giving them to the distillery at a later date. After tasting, the wines turned out to be marvellous, and Bastien decided to keep them in barrels, to the delight of our taste buds. In all, 876 bottles of unctuous blanc de blancs.

| Tasting | Initially marked by wood, the vanilla aromas give way to a delicious sweetness with notes of pastry and fresh almond. There are also lovely aromas of white and yellow fruits such as pear, mirabelle plum and peach. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced, and the marked woodiness blends well with all the aromas perceived on the nose. A lovely, charming, gourmet wine, very pleasant as an aperitif, or a perfect accompaniment to sole au beurre, or pan-fried scallops with cream. |
