Champagne JACQUESSON Avize D.T 1995 Brut Nature Grand Cru
13 in stock
Three plots of land located at the following locations de La Fosse, Némery and Champ Caïn, planted between 1962 and 1983 and facing south-east in Avize Grand Cru . 1995 was arguably the best Avize Grand Cru produced by Jacquesson up to that point, the decision was taken to keep a small number of bottles for extended ageing in preparation for a late disgorgement. Stopped with a cork stopper held in place by a staple, to enhance the wine’s long-term aromatic potential. The interest of a late disgorgement applied to wines aged nearly 15 years is remarkable: the prolongation of the maturation phase on the lees before disgorgement brings out tertiary aromas which combine harmoniously with the freshness preserved thanks to ageing in a low-oxidation environment.

Foudre de Chêne
A very intense nose, ripe like a great Burgundy. Aromas of toast, coffee, dried fruit, vanilla and honey. The palate is equally stunning with a superb balance between a slight freshness and the gourmet aromas of coffee, toast, dried fruit and honey. Champagne to be enjoyed peacefully.
