Cuvée Courzy is atypical in that it is made exclusively from Petit Meslier, a grape variety rare in Champagne. Petit Meslier is an ancient grape variety distinguished by its freshness, natural tension and rich aroma. These grapes come from the 1er Cru terroir of Villers Allerand, resulting from a massal selection on clay-limestone soils with shallow chalk. The wines were vinified and aged in oak barrels for 8 months, unfined and unfiltered.
