Description
Arbane is an old grape variety from the Aube region that is practically no longer cultivated because of its late ripening and low yields. The grappes are small and the berries are small. It is a moderately vigorous grape variety that is fairly sensitive to powdery mildew and blight. The arbane fears spring frosts. Because of its late ripening, this variety only ripens well one year out of three. In warm years, it produces an excellent wine with great bouquet, dry and nervous.

Tasting | A nose of great elegance, expressive, pleasant, with citrus notes of pear and pineapple. The attack offers a beautiful tension and reveals a perfect balance between pure minerality and the freshness of white flower aromas. One also perceives delicate notes of citrus and white fruit that weave a lacy mouthfeel. To be enjoyed in rare moments as a refreshing aperitif or with sushi or raw fish |
