This cuvée is made from a selection of the estate’s best vines from the “Champ d’Alouettes” plot, located mid-slope in the heart of the Mesnil sur Oger terroir. Half of the wine is vinified and aged in oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation to preserve the freshness of the terroir, and aged for a long time on its lees to bring complexity and a light patina. A Champagne de terroir, an authentic wine, very pure in its aromas and loaded with mineral elements that the vines have captured in healthy, living soil.
