Description
An estate in existence since 1860, Champagne Roger Constant LEMAIRE wines are atypical in that they are vinified strictly without malolactic fermentation, a method that ensures exceptional champagne quality by preserving the grape’s natural acidity. After rigorous selection at harvest to obtain healthy grapes, the wines are carefully vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, using natural yeast from the grapes, with no fining or filtration. Aged on lath for 4 years. These are Champagnes of great freshness and, above all, good ageing potential.

Tasting | The nose is complex, gourmand, well evolved, with aromas of fresh fruit, hazelnuts, fresh almonds and honeysuckle. The palate is fresh and mineral, reflecting the absence of malolactic fermentation. Rather aromatic, invigorating with savory vanilla notes. Ideal as an aperitif, it goes well with risotto and veal marengo, fish and shellfish. |
